Garden Guru Kzoo

We love to take a space that you may consider an eyesore and make it beautiful again!  The Garden Guru Kzoo specializes in Native Plant Garden design, implementation and management.  This often includes removing and/or smothering invasive plants.  We also offer maintenance plans.

We expanded and now cover Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids and surrounding areas

Certifications include:  Master Naturalist, Advanced Master Gardener, Conservation Steward and soon A Michigan Certified Natural Shoreline Professional.

Naturally Making Your World Beautiful” through the use of non-chemical approaches for fertilizer (yes, I am a worm rancher) as well as treating problems your plants may encounter.   We also utilize natural methods to deter critters from your garden.

Our nursery is located in Rockford. Michigan.  We have forbs, grasses and sedges all started from seed primarily from West Michigan.  We also grow a large variety of trees and shrubs.  

We began growing on a small scale in 2020.  We continued to grow (and to learn from some very helpful Native Growers in Michigan) and have greatly expanded our growing operation. I am a licensed grower with the State of Michigan.   .
