Laurel Voran LLC, is a small business based in Empire, Michigan  with a mission to design, create and maintain beautiful landscapes and shorelines that support our local ecosystems while reflecting our region’s distinct natural beauty.

Preservation of Michigan Monkey-flower (Erythranthe michiganensis), a Michigan endemic endangered species, is a unique focus of our work.

We also provide invasive plant identification and control.

We work on private, commercial and public properties with landscape styles ranging from traditional to naturalistic.  Regardless of the style, we incorporate as many regionally-native plants as possible and use organic land care methods that protect our waters and ensure healthy, diverse landscapes.
