Bluestem Ecology is owned and operated by John Bagley, a restoration ecologist with expertise in the flora and fauna of West michigan, and the natural communities, or habitats in which they exist.

I offer native plant landscaping, utilizing my knowledge of Michigan's flora and the soils and soil moisture types that those plants exisit in and then match those to your site. I have a good have a good eye for lines in terms of designs and I'm able to offer creative solutions.

Additionally I offer invasive species removal, habitat restoration, forest management, surveys for plants, and a variety of other services and techniques to help improve the ecological viability of your land.
