Lea Sevigny

Grand Rapids, MI, USA

616-893-7821

Lea provides site assessments with the client’s land stewardship goals in mind. Guiding landowners through the question of what’s growing and not growing at their place, she offers recommendations based on how they might like to proceed. With over 15 years of land stewardship experience and foraging for food, herbal remedies, and artistic creations, Lea can help answer questions about native, non-native, and invasive plants growing at the site.

Lea also creates place-based experiences for groups. She designs events around the plants growing in a particular place and creates wildcrafting experiences such as making herbal teas, salves, or other remedies. Most often held at the client’s home, this is an opportunity to host a unique gathering connecting with community and nature.

In addition to herbalism, foraging, and botany training, Lea earned her Master Naturalist certification and is also a Certified Environmental Educator. She guides people as they connect with the natural world both on their own property and around West Michigan.
